The Surly "ExtraTerrestrial" MTB Tire - 29 Inch (foldable) is Surly's heavy duty off-road touring tire that shines on hardpack. A nylon breaker in the sidewalls protects against cuts, a Kevlar cap under the tread against flats, and the molded pattern prevents cuts from spreading.

The directional, low profile tread with file tread between the blocks gives more traction than you might expect from a tire with so little rolling resistance and does not bog down on soft ground. Folding bead, tubeless ready.
