The Topeak "Chain Holder" Chain Keeper goes into the dropouts with the rear wheel removed and keeps the chain tensioned and properly guided while cleaning, servicing and transporting the bike. That way the chain does not slap against frame and derailleur. It fits frames with a 12 mm thru axle or a quick release and also works without either.
