The VEE Tire Co. "Speed Booster OS20" BMX Race Tire (foldable) is the OS20 version of the Speed Booster: the same tread, made for OS20 rims (451). The larger outer diameter and air volume are meant to lose less energy, so the bike holds its speed better.
A smooth, finely textured centre band keeps rolling resistance low, and flat, textured side knobs give hold in the berms. Vee Tire Co. developed the LSG+ compound exclusively for the Speed Booster: it is light and, with a hardness of 66, on the hard side, rolls very easily on hard packed tracks and still keeps its grip. Under the tread sits the B-Proof layer, a paper thin aramid belt that protects the casing without adding noticeable weight. The tire is foldable, has a 90 TPI casing and works front and rear.
