The Excess "XLC Mini/Expert 24" BMX Race Cassette Hub - 10mm - 28H is a 28 hole cassette hub for young racers on Mini and Expert bikes. Inside the freehub 3 pawls engage a 24 tooth ratchet. The shell is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and runs on sealed bearings.
The rotor mounts with CenterLock, which is quicker than bolts and sits stiffer, so you can run the hub with a V-brake or a disc brake. The freehub body is chromoly and takes Shimano standard cogs. The axle body is aluminum with a 10mm outer diameter, fastened with M6 hex key bolts. Spacers and lockring are included, cog and CenterLock/ISO adapter are sold separately. The hub weighs 363g.
