The Halo "Hex Key" Skewer Set replaces the levers of your quick releases with a hex key fitting: without a lever the wheel is better protected against quick removal and the set is lighter. The rods are Cr-Mo, the serrated frame grip surfaces aluminium, and the end covers come anodised in several colours and powder coated in white. A steel washer with a tab stops the end cone from turning while you tighten it, and if it cannot, a 15 mm cone spanner holds the nut. The set contains one skewer for a front wheel with 100 mm and one for a rear wheel with 135 mm spacing.
