The Hutchinson "TPU" MTB Tube (29" x 1.90"-2.50") is Hutchinson's TPU tube for 29" wheels with tires from 1.90" to 2.50". According to the manufacturer it is up to 60 % lighter than a butyl tube, saving up to 70 g per wheel, and takes up 50 % less space - as a spare it fits into any jersey pocket or small saddle bag. Rolling resistance comes close to a tubeless setup. The molded TPU valve base seals reliably, and the 48 mm Presta valve is made of black anodized aluminium. The tube works in tubetype and tubeless ready tires.
