The Maxxis Aspen ST TeamSpec is the team version of the short track race tire with the ultra low profile tread: the same tread as the Aspen ST, but with the lighter, faster and more supple ONE70 casing with 170 TPI. For dry XC races where every gram and every watt counts.
The new MaxxSpeed compound is a high silica compound for XC racing with around 25 % less rolling resistance than 3C MaxxSpeed and better wet traction. ONE70 is the extremely fine 170 TPI casing of the TeamSpec models, lighter and more supple than the production casing. EXO Protection is a densely woven, cut and abrasion resistant layer in the sidewall, lightweight and flexible, for trail and XC. Folding tire, tubeless ready: run tubeless with sealant. The Wide Trail (WT) sizes are optimised for rims with 30 to 35 mm inner width.
