The Ryde "Andra 40 V-Brake" MTB Rim - 29" Inch is Ryde's Andra 40 in 29 inch (622) with a CNC machined brake track for V-brakes, the profile the maker developed for cargo bikes: a pinned double wall rim made of 6063-T6 aluminium, powder coated, 25mm internal width for tyres from 29 to 71mm, built for a 120kg axle load and 1400N spoke tension. The nipple bed is thick and internally reinforced, the spoke holes are drilled 8 degrees radially and 2 degrees axially towards the hub, the valve hole takes Schrader valves. With 32 or 36 holes for 29 inch rim brake wheels that have to carry a lot.
