Who or what is SD Components?
SD Components (SD BMX Components) is a brand from the Netherlands (Boxmeer) specializing in the development of components for BMX racing. Freestyle parts are not part of the range – SD is a pure race brand.
What does the SD Components brand stand for?
SD stands for performance parts with a fair price-performance ratio across all classes: from junior entry level to pro level. With the SD-X series (e.g. Sniper hubs, Pike CNC stems), the brand also offers a high-end line for ambitious racers.
What does SD Components primarily manufacture?
The range covers almost the complete race bike: forks (carbon and aluminum, 20"/24", 1", 1-1/8" and tapered), handlebars (aluminum and CrMo), stems, headsets, hubs (Base, Ace and Sniper), cogs, cranksets, pedals, grips, plus seat posts and seat clamps.
Who are SD Components products suitable for?
With junior, expert and pro versions, SD offers suitable parts for every racer – from young riders on 18" or 20" bikes to elite riders relying on the lighter SD-X components.
