The Tangent "Rift ES20D Expert XL" 2026 BMX Race Frame is the Rift ES20D in size Expert XL, for young riders who race. Tangent builds it like the pro sizes from double heat treated 7005 aluminum: the top and down tubes are hydroformed and double butted, the chainstays are hydroformed as well, and the reinforced trapezoidal seat tube stiffens the bottom bracket area. The decals sit under the clear coat.
The head tube is CNC machined for an integrated 1-1/8" headset (IS42/42), and according to Tangent a 1" fork fits as well. At the rear there are 3D CNC machined slotted dropouts for 10mm axles. It uses a V-brake, the frame has no disc mount. The bottom bracket shell is Euro BSA with 68/73mm, the seat post is 22.2mm and the seat clamp 25.4mm. In size Expert XL it has a 20" top tube and weighs 1263g according to Tangent.
