Tangent "Rift ES20D Pro SXH" 2026 BMX Race Frame

The Tangent "Rift ES20D Pro SXH" 2026 BMX Race Frame is the Pro SXH version of the Rift ES20D, the 20 inch race frame Tangent builds as the flagship of its Rift line. Tangent refined the geometry over several iterations with input from pro riders for the 8 meter start hill of Olympic tracks: a long 22.55" top tube, a long 16.375" rear end, a slightly slacker 73.5° head angle and a steeper 73° seat angle. It is made from double heat treated 7005 aluminum. The top and down tubes are hydroformed and double butted, the chainstays are hydroformed as well, and the reinforced trapezoidal seat tube stiffens the bottom bracket area. The decals sit under the clear coat.

The integrated tapered head tube (1-1/8" to 1.5", IS42/52) is CNC machined. At the rear there are 3D CNC machined dropouts for 10mm axles with built-in chain tensioners and the disc hanger for 120mm rotors; with the right parts they also take 12mm and 12 x 147mm thru axles according to Tangent. The frame is made for disc brakes only and has no V-brake mounts. The bottom bracket shell is T47 with 68mm width. The seat post is 27.2mm, the seat clamp 31.8mm.
