The Bluetech "Excess Ultra Light" BMX Race Tube (20" x 1-1/8"-1-3/8") is an ultra light BMX race inner tube made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) instead of rubber, here for 20 inch tires 1-1/8" to 1-3/8" wide. According to US Pro it weighs only about a third of a common lite rubber tube. The translucent material is flexible, durable and 100 % recyclable. The 40mm alloy Presta valve has a removable valve core. It comes with an O-ring that sits between the valve base and the valve hole of the rim: it helps prevent pinching at the valve and keeps the tube in the right place under the valve hole.
