The Bluetech "Excess Ultra Light" BMX Race Tube (24" x 1.40"-2.50") is an ultra light BMX race inner tube made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) instead of rubber, here for 24 inch tires 1.40" to 2.50" wide. According to US Pro it weighs only about a third of a common lite rubber tube, 47g in this size, and it is made in Germany with a patented welding process. The smoked clear material is 100 % recyclable. The 40mm alloy Presta valve has a removable valve core. Outside a tire it must not be inflated above 0.7 bar (10 psi), as printed on the box.
