The Bluetech "Excess Ultra Light" BMX Race Tube (24" x 1.40"-1.90") - 4 Pieces is a box of four ultra light BMX race inner tubes made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) instead of rubber, here for 24 inch tires 1.40" to 1.90" wide. According to US Pro an Excess Ultra Light weighs only about a third of a common lite rubber tube, 59g per tube in this size. The translucent material is flexible, durable and 100 % recyclable. The 40mm alloy Presta valve has a removable valve core. The tube comes with an O-ring that sits between the valve base and the valve hole of the rim: it helps prevent pinching at the valve and keeps the tube in the right place under the valve hole.
