The Excess "XLC-1 Mini/Expert" Wheelset - 20 x 1-3/8 Inch (451) - Axles 10/10mm - 28H is a wheelset for young riders on Mini and Expert bikes, made for racing and training. The Excess XLC double wall rims are 6061-T6 aluminum in 451x19.5mm (20 x 1-1/8" to 1-3/8") with a specific profile front and rear, each wheel is laced with 28 14G steel spokes and aluminum nipples, rim tape fitted.
Up front runs the Excess XLC Expert front hub, at the rear the XLC Expert cassette hub, both with sealed bearings and aluminum axles with a 10mm outer diameter, fastened with M6 hex key bolts. At the rear 3 pawls engage a 24 tooth ratchet, and the chromoly freehub body takes Shimano standard cogs. The set is ready for V-brakes, and the rear hub has a Center Lock mount so you can convert to a disc brake. Cog and Center Lock/ISO adapter are sold separately. The pair weighs 1446g according to US Pro.
