The Excess "XLC-1 Pro" Wheelset - 20 x 1.75 Inch (406) - Axles 10/10mm is a wheelset for Pro riders on 20 inch, made for racing and training. The Excess XLC double wall rims are 6061-T6 aluminum in 406x28mm (20 x 1.50" to 1.75") with a specific profile front and rear, tubeless ready according to US Pro, and each wheel is laced with 36 14G steel spokes and aluminum nipples, rim tape fitted.
Up front runs the Excess XLC Pro front hub, at the rear the XLC Pro cassette hub with a CenterLock mount, both with sealed bearings and 10mm chromoly axles clamped with hex key bolts. At the rear 3 pawls engage a 24 tooth ratchet, Shimano standard cogs fit. The set is ready for V-brakes, with a CenterLock/ISO adapter sold separately you can run a disc brake at the rear, and the front hub can be converted to 20mm with a kit. According to US Pro the pair weighs 1793g. A cog is not included.
