The Excess "XLC-3 Cruiser" Wheelset - 24 x 1.75 Inch (507) - Axles 10/10mm is the carbon wheelset for 24 inch BMX race cruisers, made for racing. Excess builds it from the XLC carbon rims 507x30mm made of Toray T700 carbon (3K) and the sealed XLC Pro hubs. The freehub of the rear hub works with 3 pawls with 5 teeth each on a 120 tooth ratchet, which gives you quick engagement at the gate and when you sprint.
The set is ready for V-brakes, and with the Center Lock mount of the rear hub you can run it with a disc brake as well. The front hub can be converted to 20mm with a kit that is sold separately. It fits 24 x 1.50" to 1.75" tires and has 36 spokes per wheel. The rim tape is fitted, cog and Center Lock/ISO adapter are sold separately.
