The Halo "Skelta" MTB Rear Wheel - 24" Inch is the 24 inch rear wheel of the Skelta range, suited to kids mountain bikes and mullet builds. Halo tested the Skelta rim for more than a year, including at Hardline: 6069-T6 heat treated aluminium, a seamless welded joint and a shot peened matt surface against corrosion and fatigue. 30 mm internal width and a hooked profile keep the tyre secure, with or without a tube; the rim is optimised for 2.5" tyres and fits 2.2" to 2.8". At its heart runs the Halo MT Supadrive Boost hub for 12 x 148 mm with 120 points of engagement and a Cr-Mo freehub body, laced three cross with black, triple butted J-bend stainless steel spokes and black ED coated brass nipples. You choose the freehub as the version: Shimano HG, Micro Spline or SRAM XD.
