Recap: Throwback Ermesinde Jam on Oct. 24th, 2026, in Porto

Greetings from Portugal! On Saturday, October 24th, 2026, Gui Andrade (@guig.andrade) invited everyone to the Throwback Ermesinde Jam at Skatepark Ermesinde near Porto. The park is one of the oldest in the north of Portugal and has a really beautiful pool. We were happy to be a sponsor once again and thank you for letting us be a small part of it.

We go back a while with Gui: we were already on board for the X-Mas Porto Street Jam last year. We are really glad he thought of us again.

Three contests, one afternoon

Things kicked off at 2 pm, and Ermesinde station is only three minutes from the park. There were three contests:

Best trick street: big session at the flat rail and the curb, 15 minutes per side each.
Best trick pool: a 45 minute jam in the pool, fly outs included.
Best line pool: no runs, simply 45 minutes of free riding.

The flyer above was designed by @duartegabrantes.

Street: flat rail and curb

In lovely autumn weather it all started on the street area. The big session at the flat rail and the curb showed right away that everyone was keen to ride.

The pool

The heart of the park is the old pool with its colourful graffiti. This is where riders went for the best trick and the best line, from fast carves to high airs and fly outs.

Judges, banners and good vibes

Our banner hung at the judges table and on the fence, right next to the one of Icon Bike Store. Gui still had the banners from the last jam, so this time we did not need to send any. On top of that there were drawstring bags with the jam artwork.

Prize giving

At the end the winners of all contests were called up. We chipped in with vouchers for our shop. Congrats to all winners, and thanks to everyone who rode!
