The Shimano "S-PHYRE XC901" MTB Shoes - Blue is Shimano's top cross-country race shoe from the S-PHYRE line, built entirely around power transfer. The one-piece upper wraps the foot closely, asymmetric eyelets stop the foot from twisting under hard pedalling, and a curved heel cup keeps the heel firmly in place.
Two BOA dials allow fine adjustment and open with an instant release. The stiff, low-profile carbon fibre composite midsole keeps the shoe stable on the pedal, and the MICHELIN outsole with reinforced rubber lugs saves weight and grips off-road, with a light moulded toe protector at the front.
