The Spank "Oozy Trail 395+" MTB Rim - 27.5" Inch is the widest rim in Spank's trail range. At 35mm inner width it is built for plus tyres and high-volume trail tyres, approved from 2.3" to 3.0". That much bead support holds the tyre up sideways, so you can run less pressure and get more grip without the tyre folding over in a corner. The corrugated rim centre stiffens the rim without adding material, which is why it stays around 560 grams despite the width. The BeadBite ridges in the rim hook keep a tubeless tyre firmly in place, and the surface is shot-peened and anodised.
