The absoluteBLACK "Premium Integrated Top Cap" Headset Top Cap is top cap and bolt in one piece: CNC machined from 7075 aluminium, tightened with a 5 mm hex key and only 5 g according to the manufacturer. It fits every standard star nut for 1 1/8" steerers and, with the ENVE Compression Plug, carbon steerers too.
Not suitable for expanders with a steel coil spring as used in carbon steerers. If the cap sits at an angle on the stem, the star nut sits at an angle and has to be straightened first. Maximum torque 5 Nm.
