Large, supported side knobs give the Maxxis Minion DHR II its cornering grip, while the paddle like center knobs with ramped leading edges and sipes deliver maximum braking traction and a smooth transition when leaning the bike. The Minion DHR II is the do it all gravity tire from Maxxis that also works very well as a front tire, classically run at the rear paired with a Minion DHF up front.
3C MaxxGrip is the stickiest, slowest rebounding compound Maxxis offers, the downhill compound of the World Cup riders with the best damping. The DH2 casing (listed by Maxxis as "New DH") is made of two 120 TPI plies and is the new Maxxis downhill casing. Folding tire, tubeless ready: run tubeless with sealant.
