Large, supported side knobs give the Maxxis Minion DHR II its cornering grip, while the paddle like center knobs with ramped leading edges and sipes deliver maximum braking traction and a smooth transition when leaning the bike. The Minion DHR II is the do it all gravity tire from Maxxis that also works very well as a front tire, classically run at the rear paired with a Minion DHF up front.
The new single compound MaxxTerra is the evolution of the previous 3C MaxxTerra: 15 % more grip and 30 % longer tread life with the same low rolling resistance. DoubleDown (DD) is the enduro casing: two 120 TPI plies with a butyl sidewall insert, clearly tougher than EXO+ and lighter than the downhill casing. Folding tire, tubeless ready: run tubeless with sealant. The Wide Trail (WT) sizes are optimised for rims with 30 to 35 mm inner width.
