Large, supported side knobs give the Maxxis Minion DHR II its cornering grip, while the paddle like center knobs with ramped leading edges and sipes deliver maximum braking traction and a smooth transition when leaning the bike. The Minion DHR II is the do it all gravity tire from Maxxis that also works very well as a front tire, classically run at the rear paired with a Minion DHF up front.
The dual compound tread combines two rubber compounds in one tread, with their properties and layout tuned to the tire's intended use. Wire bead tire, to be used with a tube.
