Large, supported side knobs give the Maxxis Minion DHR II its cornering grip, while the paddle like center knobs with ramped leading edges and sipes deliver maximum braking traction and a smooth transition when leaning the bike. The Minion DHR II is the do it all gravity tire from Maxxis that also works very well as a front tire, classically run at the rear paired with a Minion DHF up front.
The dual compound tread combines two rubber compounds in one tread, with their properties and layout tuned to the tire's intended use. EXO Protection is a densely woven, cut and abrasion resistant layer in the sidewall, lightweight and flexible, for trail and XC. Folding tire, tubeless ready: run tubeless with sealant.
