Large, supported side knobs give the Maxxis Minion DHR II its cornering grip, while the paddle like center knobs with ramped leading edges and sipes deliver maximum braking traction and a smooth transition when leaning the bike. The Minion DHR II is the do it all gravity tire from Maxxis that also works very well as a front tire, classically run at the rear paired with a Minion DHF up front.
MaxxPro is a single compound for use from all mountain to downhill. The Downhill casing (DH) is made of two 60 TPI plies with butyl sidewall inserts, the construction of the Maxxis downhill race tires. Wire bead tire, to be used with a tube.
