The Chester is Race Face's composite flat pedal and has been the way into a proper platform pedal for years. Eleven pins per side, nine of them metal, sit around the edge of the slightly concave platform. Race Face "Chester Large" MTB Pedals is the large version with a 115 x 110mm platform, the axle runs in fully serviceable internals.
