The Surly "8-Pack / 24-Pack Rack" Security Hardware Kit is Surly's security hardware for the 8-Pack Rack and 24-Pack Rack. Surly introduced it with the recall of these racks: a rack that is not tightened correctly may come loose and fall off. According to Surly the kit includes patched bolts that attach the rack to the fork and hardware that mounts to the end of each upper strut once the rack is back on the bike.
