The Enduro Bearings "MAXHit" MTB Headset - ZS44/28.6 | EC44/40 is Enduro's MAXHit headset for 1-1/8 to 1.5 inch tapered steerers, zero stack 44 mm upper, EC44/40 lower (zero stack upper, external cup lower). With MAXHit the bearing itself is the cup: it presses directly into the head tube, the aluminium cup is gone and there is room for much larger balls. Everything is machined from 440C stainless steel, and Enduro backs it with a lifetime warranty.
