The Microshift "Advent" MTB Rear Derailleur is the heart of the Advent 9-speed drivetrain, which Microshift built for riders who pay for their own parts: trail-ready features at the price of an entry-level derailleur. The clutch works with a ratchet and pawl, keeps the chain quiet on rough ground and can be adjusted and repaired. The cable is routed directly, so it shifts equally cleanly across all gears, and the body is all metal. Four cage lengths: Medium Cage for 1x9 with an 11-42 or 11-46 cassette, Medium Cage Ver.2 with better chain wrap (also for Sword), Long Cage for 2x9 and Super Short Cage for 20 inch bikes with the 11-38 cassette. Fits Advent shifters only, not Shimano or SRAM.
