The Excess "LSP" BMX Race Crankset is a two piece crankset that Excess developed for BMX racing. The arms are forged from 6061-T6 aluminum, stiff and still light, so more of your power goes into the sprint. The 24mm spindle is heat treated SCM435 chromoly, and the pedal threads sit in chromoly inserts.
The spider takes 4 bolt chainrings with a 104mm bolt circle. The chain line is 42mm, the Q factor 161mm. A bottom bracket is not included: the crank fits Press Fit 86mm and Euro BSA 68/73mm shells, each with bearings for 24mm spindles. Excess requires the crank to be installed by a bike shop following the assembly instructions, otherwise the warranty is void.
