The Insight "Thermoplastic DU Pro" BMX Race Pedals are light platform pedals with a moulded thermoplastic body. On each side, six threaded, replaceable metal pins and four moulded plastic pins work together with the embossed traction pods to keep your sole firmly on the pedal.
The CNC machined chromoly axle with 9/16" thread is made to take big jumps without bending. Instead of ball bearings, the pedals spin on two self-lubricating bushings. That saves weight and height, and the pair weighs 350g.
