Why buy from kunstform?

From the BMX scene, for the BMX scene, since 2003. We are an owner-run shop and all BMXers ourselves. We want to offer you the best service and pass on our enthusiasm for riding. That's why we support the scene from the individual rider through clubs to events as best we can, and organise events ourselves, like the legendary kunstform Stock Session.

Where can I visit kunstform in person?

kunstform is your local BMX specialist in Stuttgart. In our store you can browse the range in stock and test our bikes. As a beginner, this is also the quickest way into the local scene. By the way: under the add-to-cart button, every product shows whether it is in stock in the store right now.

What brands does kunstform carry?

For us, the most important thing is that you have fun riding and stay happy with your bike for a long time. With us you get high-quality bikes and parts that we, as riders, can stand behind with a clear conscience. Our range consists almost exclusively of brands that have long been established in the BMX scene or were founded by BMXers themselves. The same standard applies to BMX Race and MTB. Our close connection to the manufacturers lets us pass on feedback on products directly, and so keep improving the quality.

What is a kunstform Pick?

Our history with BMX parts did not start when we opened kunstform in 2003: some of the team have been riding longer than the shop has existed, and most of us are still on a bike today. So we know pretty well which parts we can trust. A kunstform Pick therefore only goes to what we would bolt onto our own bikes: parts where the quality and the value are right, and that you will enjoy for a long time.

We are happy to help you get started in the BMX world. Your height, riding skills, goals and of course your budget decide which bike is right. If you are a beginner or simply want to try BMX, have a look at the BMX Beginner category!

Are you already part of the BMX scene?

Tricks like bunny hop, 180 or 360 already come easy and you want to progress? Then the BMX Mid-Range category is for you. If you ride contests regularly and call BMX your life, check out the BMX High-End category, or build your own bike with our Custom BMX Configurator!

Which BMX is right for my child?

What counts is your child's height; the age is only a guide. Our rules of thumb:

• BMX balance bikes from the age of 1.
• 12" BMX bikes for about 3 years (95 to 110 cm).
• 14" BMX bikes for 4 to 5 years (105 to 130 cm).
• 16" BMX bikes for 6 to 7 years (115 to 140 cm).
• 18" BMX bikes for 8 to 11 years (125 to 150 cm).
• 20" BMX bikes from 12 years (145 to 165 cm).

Can I configure a custom BMX bike?

From pure design to customising a complete bike to building your own custom BMX: our three configurators give you plenty of options.

• With the BMX Color Designer you can let your creativity run free and design your BMX virtually. For designers and anyone handy with a spray can.
• The BMX Bike Customizer lets you customise a complete bike at a comparatively low cost by swapping selected parts.
• With the Custom BMX Configurator you build your own Custom BMX Bike from parts across our entire range and get it delivered pre-assembled.

What services does kunstform offer?

Our BMX Wheel Building Service covers lacing and truing your new rear or front wheel. Pick a hub, a rim and any spoke length, add the product BMX Wheel Building Service (lacing and truing) to your order, and we take care of the rest!

Our Custom BMX Configurator helps you put together your own custom BMX bike. Add any BMX parts such as frames, forks or bars to your configuration and order as usual. The Custom BMX Assembly is done by our experienced staff: checking, assembling, adjusting and, where needed, adapting every selected part. After a final check the bike is made ready for shipping. Individual advice during the build rounds off the Custom BMX Assembly Service!

We also offer help for self-help with our BMX assembly videos. Whether you want to assemble your complete bike, fit a gyro or replace your cranks, this is the place.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we ship to almost every country. Which countries we do not deliver to, and what to know about customs outside the EU, is on our shipping page.

You can pay by prepayment/bank transfer with a 1 % discount, cash on delivery (Germany only), PayPal, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna or PayPal Pay Later.

We ship with DHL/Deutsche Post, with cheaper shipping from an order value of

• 79 Euro in Germany.
• 149 Euro in the EU.
• 299 Euro in Europe (non-EU).
• 399 Euro in the neighbouring regions.
• 499 Euro worldwide.

We check your order, get in touch by e-mail or phone if anything is unclear, and pack everything with care. When we have them, we add a few stickers, posters or catalogues to your parcel.

You can also pick up your order in our store in Stuttgart and pay there. That way you can test your new bike on the spot and take it home fully assembled and ready to ride.

Is there an archive for older BMX parts & history?

Yes! Since kunstform has been around since 2003, we have built a digital museum. In the kunstform Product Archive you will find technical data, images and info on selected BMX products from the years 2005 to 2016. Ideal for browsing, for collectors or to follow the evolution of your favourite brand.
