The Taya "Octo" BMX Race Chain is an 8 speed chain in 1/2" x 3/32" by Taya, who build their chains only in Taiwan. On a BMX race bike it runs on single speed gearing, and it also fits 8 speed derailleur systems. Chamfered inner and outer plates keep it quiet. The grey version carries Taya's GST surface treatment, which has passed 1000 hours of salt spray testing and protects the chain better against rust; it is free of hexavalent chromium and complies with RoHS and REACH. At 116 links the chain is long enough for any gearing and gets shortened to size, and a quick link is included.
