The Cane Creek "VALT" MTB Shock Spring - 76 mm Stroke is Cane Creek's lightweight linear coil spring: according to the manufacturer 50 to 211 g lighter than a standard spring of the same rate, so a coil shock comes without the usual weight penalty. Length is chosen to match the shock stroke, rate by rider weight, rear travel and stroke. Linear VALT springs are also the only ones that work in the Cane Creek Tigon.
