The Chase "Edge Expert" 2027 BMX Race Bike - Dark Midnight is the Chase race bike for riders who want to get serious about racing. The frame is made from triple butted, hydroformed 6061 aluminium tubes with an integrated head tube and enclosed dropouts that hold the chain tensioner. The graphics sit under the clear coat.
This colourway comes with an Ikon carbon fork. At the rear a hydraulic Shimano MT200 disc brake with a 140mm rotor does the stopping, the rear hub is a cassette hub with three pawls. It comes with an Insight chainring, a KMC chain, double wall rims and Vee Rubber Speedster tires.
The Expert size rolls on 20 inch wheels and according to Chase fits riders from 1.32 - 1.46m. Without pedals the bike weighs 8.47 kg according to Chase.
