The Chase "Edge Pro XL" 2027 BMX Race Bike - Gold Sand/Dark Grey is the Chase Edge in size Pro XL in the carbon fork version. Chase redid the Edge for model year 2027: the frame is triple butted, hydroformed 6061-T6 aluminum with an integrated head tube and enclosed dropouts with built-in chain tensioners. The paint is two-tone Gold Sand and Dark Grey, the decals sit under the clear coat.
Up front sits an Ikon Pro Carbon fork with an aluminum steerer. Chase offers the carbon fork only in the two colourways Dark Midnight and Gold Sand/Dark Grey, the black version comes with a chromoly fork. The rear brake is a Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brake with a 140mm rotor. It comes with a 2-piece Chase alloy crank with 24mm spindle and 175mm arms, an Insight 43T chainring, a 16T cog on a cassette hub with three pawls, double wall rims and Vee Rubber SpeedSter tires. The bar (8" rise) is chromoly, the seat/post combo sits in a quick release clamp.
Chase recommends size Pro XL for riders from 1.64 to 1.78m. Without pedals the bike weighs 9.41 kg according to Chase.
