The Chase "Edge Expert XL" 2027 BMX Race Bike - Black/Dark Grey is the Chase Edge in size Expert XL in the chromoly fork version. Chase redid the Edge for model year 2027: the frame is triple butted, hydroformed 6061-T6 aluminum with an integrated head tube and enclosed dropouts with built-in chain tensioners. The paint is two-tone Black/Dark Grey with decals under the clear coat.
The rear brake is a Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brake with a 140mm rotor. It comes with a 2-piece Chase alloy crank with 24mm spindle and 160mm arms, an Insight 39T chainring, a 16T cog on a cassette hub with three pawls, double wall rims and Vee Rubber SpeedSter tires. Bar (6.5" rise) and fork are chromoly, the seat/post combo sits in a quick release clamp.
